I was a student at Bury Grammar School and completed my Law degree at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. I was always keen to combine academic studies with sport and I continue my involvement in cricket to this day.

I spent some time pursuing a career in cricket following University, spending two seasons in Western Australia and I was also on the Staff at Lancashire County Cricket Club for two years. I am still heavily involved at Heywood Cricket Club both playing and helping the club develop and provide opportunities for people within the town to play and watch the game.

I moved into full time practice in 2010 and deal in the main with conveyancing work. I enjoy strong working relationships with local Estate Agents and Mortgage Brokers and am always happy to ensure clients understand the conveyancing process to try and minimise concern through the transaction.

I retain an involvement in cricket being Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Lancashire Cricket Foundation as well as continuing to support the development of women’s cricket in the region. As a result of this I am very involved with the Local Community.
