Christine has practised in Heywood since 1982 having originally trained and qualified with a large Manchester firm. She now specialises and has vast experience in Family Law, including divorce, separation and in particular, financial settlements involving business assets, pensions and investments. She is a member of Resolution.
Christine undertakes some probate and will work together with Lasting Power of Attorneys. She also advises elderly Clients. This enables her to offer a fully comprehensive service to all her Clients.
She prides herself on her no nonsense approach and being able to empathise with Clients whilst still offering objective pragmatic advice to Clients to resolve matters quickly and therefore more cost effectively. On the whole, she works on personal recommendations which is a good indication of Client satisfaction.
Christine is married with three adult children and away from the office, enjoys travelling, keeping fit and watching cricket
A student at Bury Grammar School who then completed his law degree at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, Bobby moved into full time practice in 2010 and deals with Conveyancing as well as Wills and Probate work.
Bobby spent some time pursuing a career in cricket both in Western Australia and with two years on the staff at Lancashire County Cricket Club.
Bobby retains an involvement in cricket being Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Lancashire Cricket Foundation as well as General Manager of the Lancashire Thunder women’s team that plays in the Kia Super League.
Ian has been in practice for over 35 years and has considerable experience in many aspects of legal matters. His specialisms are commercial and employment law, contentious matters and dealing with financial settlements upon relationship breakdowns. He is a member of Rochdale Law Association and Board Member of Rochdale Law Centre.
Karen is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives FCLIx. With over 30 years’ experience in Residential conveyancing, Wills, Probate and Estate Administration, Lasting Power of Attorney and Court of Protection. She has recently joined Sharp Cross and Mann having previously acted for a local Solicitor.
She has a friendly, down to earth approach and is committed to providing s first class service to her Clients and values the long term relationship she has with many, having acted on numerous occasions for more than one generation of the same family.
In her spare time she enjoys cycling, reading and walking.
